Video - Audiobook
As the name suggests, audiobooks are voice recordings of the text of a book that you listen to rather than read. Audiobooks can be exact word-for-word versions of books or abridged versions. However, this pedagogical tool has a third component that make it much more rich and flexible, which is the video component that helps audiobooks to adapt to any situation. The authors of the Video-audiobook you will find here apply scaffolding to literacy in the early years: Check Curtain H, Dahlberg C, (2004).
The principal agent is the object itself and not the instruction given by the teacher. It is the child who uses the objects; it is the child who is active, and not the teacher.
